I’m a huge movie buff and also dabble in nature photography Are you an action, paranormal, or romance type of person? Just depends on the day. Tell us about your latest release. Collateral Damage is the second book in the Hidden Scars series and it focuses around two characters from book one, Tucker and Daisy. These two have been friends for years while they each harboured secret feelings for the other but one night when Tucker shows up at Daisy’s house drunk, everything changes between them. Do you have any upcoming releases in what’s left of 2016? The third and final book in the Hidden Scars series, Evading Fate, is releasing on November 21st What can readers expect from you in 2017? I’m starting a new MC series. If you’ve read the Hidden Scars series then you met these characters already. I’m really excited about it because it will give me a chance to do something new but I won’t have to completely leave behind the characters from the HS series that I love so much. Which of your books was your favourite to write and why? Each time I write a new one, it’s my favorite and then I go back and read the ones before and fall in the love with that story all over again. If you were stranded on a desert island with one of your characters, who would you pick and why? That’s so hard! I guess if I have to choose, it would be Nix. He was the first one and will always hold a special place in my heart Do you have book boyfriend? If yes, who? Oh, definitely. Hidden Scars deals with some pretty heavy subject matter so I always love when someone says that they needed this book, that it came to them at the perfect time. Knowing that I helped someone going through something similar always feels good. What was your favourite book as a child? I usually don’t cry when I read books but one big that did make me cry was Moto by M. Never. Still mad about that ending Are any of your heroes based on real men in your life? No Are any of the experiences in your books based on events that have happened to you/someone you know? Yes, Hidden Scars was based very loosely on real events What is your drink of choice while writing? Water What is your favourite writing snack? I don’t like to eat while I write. It distracts me If you could have any superpower, what would it be? I just want to be a vampire so I don’t have to sleep.
