I’m a Brit living in sunny Spain. My passions include writing, reading, watching TV series, and listening to music. Tell us about your latest release. The Black Door Trilogy is about a kinky club owner Darion Milano who changes Gabriella Wood’s life. It’s full of adventurous, like-minded people, with one thing on their mind—PLEASURE. Darion pushes Gabi’s boundaries and she’s unsure whether she can keep up, even though she loves him. It’s full of sex, secrets and seduction. What can readers expect from you in the rest of 2017? I’m hoping to release a romance duology. I have already been published in two anthologies: Deju Vu: (horror), and Craving Soldiers. Have you got anything planned for 2018 (book releases, signings etc.)? Nothing planned yet, although I aim to have a couple of books published per year. What is your favourite genre to write? Romance and suspense. Do you see yourself writing in any other genres in the future? I’d be open to trying most genres, historical romance being one of them. Which book was your favourite to write, and why? The Black Door Trilogy. I just love Darion! For those who are new to your work, which book would you recommend starting with? His Confession, book #1 of The Black Door Trilogy. These aren’t standalones. How do you find names for your characters? And can you write them until you’ve found the perfect one? It takes me LOTS of researching! I have to find the names before I start it. Which of your characters would you want to be stranded on a desert island with, and why? Darion. He’d be loads of fun. Do you have a character you feel more connected to? I think I’m a little apprehensive like Gabi. I feel connected with her because she’s relatable and reacts to Darion’s secret in a way I think a lot of women may. What’s the best reaction you’ve ever received over one of your books? The reviews I’ve received have been great. Also when fans buy the paperbacks for their collection. Who is your biggest supporter? My mom. She always believes in me. Who are your must-read/one-click authors? I like quite a few: Jackie Collins, Lauren Weisberger, Alessandra Torre, JA. Huss… What book has made you laugh most? Tough question! I honestly can’t think. What book has made you cry most? I’m yet to cry to a book. I’m trying to find one. Were you an avid reader as a child? Yep. My mom got us the whole Beatrix Potter collection. And the Disney collection. Are any of your heroes based on real men in your life? No, although some experiences are based on truths. Are any of the experiences in your books based on events that have happened to you/someone you know? Yes. I like to make my books realistic, and the fact some of the experiences have happened to me helps. P.S The Black Door Trilogy experience hasn’t happened to me btw. Do you have any funny writing quirks or stories you could tell us? Not really. I can’t write around mess though. My writing space has to be nice and neat. Are you a sporty or curl up with a good book type of person? Curl up. I hate any form of sport / exercise sadly! What is the most romantic thing someone has ever done for you? Taken me on a nice holiday. What is the wildest thing you’ve ever done? I had some wild times in Ibiza 2012, although nothing TOO wild lol! What is the strangest thing you’ve done in the name of book research? Researched A LOT on adult clubs for The Black Door Trilogy. I watched video’s, interviews of people into that lifestyle etc… It was interesting. What is your drink of choice while writing? Coffee! What is your favourite writing snack? Chocolate! Do you have any pets? A cat called Timmy. Are you a morning person? Hell no. I’m a night-owl. If you could have any superpower, what would it be? To be invisible. I’d stalk other authors to see how they write lol! And perve on Charlie Hunnam! What book are you reading now? My own as I’m editing it. Name 3 books everyone needs to read (excluding yours). The Black Door Trilogy. The Secret – Rhonda Byrne. Slave Girl – Sarah Forsyth.
