Author Bio: Megan Matthews writes smutty romance by day and hides behind her secret identity as a responsible Pinterest mom when other parents are around. She believes morning shouldn’t start until noon and chocolate should be calorie free. Living in Michigan she prefers sun over snow, hot chocolate over coffee, and wine over beer. She’ll pick a book over nature every day. Megan once displayed the entire Goosebumps series on her bookshelf. Her taste in reading has matured. She now prefers her heroes with rippling muscles over brace-faced nerds running from murderous dummies. Writes: Contemporary Romance Author of: The Boys of RDA series & Pelican Bay Security Series Tell us about your latest release.
June 27th I released the fourth book in my The Boys of RDA series. This is the story of Clare and Grant. Clare, is a young woman who worked herself out of the San Francisco foster care system to go and lead a youth center in San Francisco. Grant, comes from one of the city’s oldest families. He’s lived a life of wealth and privilege. What will happen when these two worlds collide? What can readers expect from you in the rest of 2017? The rest of the year will be releases for my newest series, Pelican Bay Security. These hot SEALS are ready to woo some ladies on the coast. For those who are new to your work, which book would you recommend starting with? I would suggest anyone new to my writing start with The Boys of RDA’s first book, Rush. It is FREE on all platforms –( https://www.books2read.com/u/38elBm) Which of your characters would you want to be stranded on a desert island with, and why? Ridge, from Security Risk. Not only is he a hot former Navy SEAL who I could stare at all day, but he knows survival strategies to keep us alive… but mostly the hot body thing. Were you an avid reader as a child? Absolutely. I had the entire Goosebumps series by R.L. Stine (it was much smaller back then) and the Thoroughbred series by Joanna Campbell (also shorter back then). What is your favourite writing snack? Anything I can find in the kitchen that doesn’t require me to use a stove or microwave. Do you have any pets? We have one dog. He’s a poodle mix, but we don’t know what kind because he was adopted as a puppy. He’ll be thirteen this year, but still thinks he’s a puppy. Are you a morning person? Definitely not. Mornings shouldn’t start until at least 11am. At least once a week during the school year I inform my husband that once our son is through school and it’s just the two of us I am transitioning to a night owl schedule.
